Installation
Mozilla & Netscape7+ on Windows
- Click here to Install Indic IME Toolbar for Mozilla/Netscape
- A dialog similar to the one shown below popsup
- Click on the button "Other" and choose either Netscape/Mozilla (executable)
- Click on ok
- The browser will now ask the permission to install the toolbar.
- Click on install
- Restart the browser
Mozilla & Netscape7+ on Linux
- Ctrl + Click here to Install Indic IME Toolbar for Mozilla/Netscape
- Opens the link in a new window and pops up 'Select User Profile' dialog
as shown below
- Click on 'Create Profile' and create a new profile.
- After creating the profile, select the profile create from the 'Available Profiles' list and click on 'Start Netscape' button.
- This will ask the permission to install.
- Click on install and restart the browser.
FireFox1.0/1.5 on Windows & Linux
- Install IndicIME Toolbar for Firefox1.0 and Firefox1.5+
- A dialog box pops up as shown below
- Choose 'other' from drop down list and and go to the directory where firefox is installed and select firefox.exe
- Click on ok
- The browser will now ask the permission to install the toolbar.
- Click on install
- Restart the browser
Note: To uninstall the extension, go to Tools -> Extensions, select the extension and click on 'Uninstall'.
